'dog parks' spark vicious glass, meat threats (For you folks down under)

I am cirtenly not from around there, but concidering it to be real - it makes me very angry! How can people be so heartless? I think law enforcement needs to look into it and if found guilty arrest for animal abuse!

It's just a threat and probably a hollow one at that.  It is just showing the frustration of some people. 

I guess then these people should be arrested also.

OUTRAGED pet owners have hit back at cowards threatening to bait dogs, saying crushed glass should be hidden in their children's baby food.

That's easy to say when it's not your dog park being threatened.

I know that you can actually get in trouble for threatening violence in many parts of the US (one of DH's friends did prison time for leaving a death threat on his former bosses myspace page).  I wonder if it's the same in Sydney.  

This is nuts---ALL of it! The original plan was to turn more than half of the parks into "dedicated dog parks"? So there would be more parks for dogs than for humans? Nuts!

And fencing areas for dogs was "rejected outright because it segregated animals from the community." Fencing segregates them? NUTS! Funny, I think fencing keeps dogs from getting hurt and killed by cars, etc.

Then to threaten to kill dogs and babies over this? Nuts and nuts again. I think compentency hearings are in order for some folks...and criminal threatening charges might also be a good idea.
