Fredericksburg, Va and Perry Ga shows

I am heading to the Fredericksburg Va show this week, it is a wed -sat show. Any I doggers planning on being there?? How about the big Perry Show next weeked??  would love to meet any I Doggers if you will be in the areas , showing or not

If you ave never been to a dog show and would like a personal tour I would be happy to show you around, bring your kids or just show up yourself !

I'm working this weekend but wish I could go to the Fredricksburg show-it's only about an hour from my house.

I'll be in Perry lure coursing the hound.  Be prepared to see loads of Pharaoh Hounds, the club is coursing Saturday and Sunday.  I'm going to drive down Friday night and stay through Sunday.

 Well, I will not be at a show but I will be at a herding clinic just across the water in eastern MD, about 40 min from there.  Wish I had time to stop by but I don't - it's been crazy trying to get out of here as it is!! 

Have fun though and go give the Cresteds a little driveby for me.  Someday I really intend to go hang out at a show and meet some of these dogs in person - probably once the Leos start showing AKC, I wont be able to resist then.   

For the first time in 5 years we aren't going to Perry.  With the price of travel and trials going up I decided to save the about $1000 it would have cost to travel and enter. Darn!!!

I really really wanted to make that herding clinic, but I have relatives staying with me all weekend.

We will be in Perry Wed through Sunday showing 2 in conformation, hope to  try out Raptor one and Kota in Lure courrsing, And maybe Kota in Herding and his CGC , I need to see wht he needs to tune up on so he will pass at The Rodeo if not before. I even thought it would be fun to puppy match the new kid even though he is not going to grow up to be a show dog.

Fredericksburg is about 2 hours from where we live.....how long will you be there on saturday?

 I live just 15 min from Perry and would love to go but I am nursing a dog through heartworm treatment and an ill hubby,  and am not sure I can make it.  The gals in my Vet's office this morn were all excited about it as 2 of them are showing. 

 I'm leaving tonight for Perry.  Wish me and Xerxes luck with the coursing gods!

We put two of our kids in the Herding Trials and Both PASSED !!! Yeahhhhh now we will hit the lure coursing ring  and CGC for pone after the breed rings Saturday Morning !! can not wait!!  If you are in Perry You will find us in a large class A rv by the second bathroom on the first rv street.... IF that isn't specific enough...there is a Pink flamingo in front of our RV wearing rain gear !! Wish us luck guys !!

 Xerxes got his first of 4 legs on his SC, and was "Herding Instinct" certified.  Woohoo!

It was sooooo great meeting you and seeing your gorgeous furkid !! Wow talk about a motivated courser !! Next time come to our RV and have some supper or a drink or two I would love to learn more about your PHs he was beautiful!

 Thank you so much Bonita!  I enjoyed seeing your Ridgie-what a mellow guy.  It's been such a long time since I've seen a normal sized RR, most in this area are goliath in proportion.  It was really fun meeting you as well.

 And pictures are up on this site, under Pharaoh Hounds, of course!

 I did receive a correction in the email last night- Xerxes came in 3rd, not 4th.  Woohoo!!!!!!
