Mindless Chatter - Tues

    Mindless Chatter - Tues

Well, the dogs are only allowed to chew their bones in the crates now. Dakota goes after Lily each and every time they have bones no matter what. Then Lily gets very defensive and I fear that's going to lead to all out resource aggression. I do not want another resource aggressive dog. So, no more free bones.

I blocked off the basement access to the dogs too. Hopefully this wont' be a mistake but because Dakota goes to the bathroom down there in an emergency, Lily thinks that is the bathroom. I'm SICK of my house smelling like dog poo. So, they no longer have access. I hope that I don't come home today to some accidents caused by Dakota. There seems to be no fixing the stomach issue with her.

Anyway, I should be productive at work today. Yesterday, I couldn't focus.

I skipped agility practice last night so I could do nothing. That was nice :) I wish that I could stay home today and do more of nothing!

Ugh. Tired. Apparently it's a side-effect of the antibiotic I'm on. That, and feeling like I ran a marathon. Guess I need some more water.

I need to get Pirate out for a walk and then zzzzz. I'm going back to bed. I have 2 tests today but I just feel too crappy so I'm going to sleep it off.

raining again today and supposed to rain Thursday through Saturday. Need to rig Bugs up so he can power a generator or something.

Julie I can't imagine how difficult it must be - I do feel sad for poor Dakota though she must feel poorly all the time. Sad

I never turned my computer on yesterday! I stayed home from work too. On Saturday after dog class I was lifting Teddi in the car, she is not allowed to jump in yet, and I threw out my back. I hate having a bad back. Anyway, I tried on Saturday to keep going despite the pain, I actually was 'ok' if I kept moving, when I stopped and sat, I could not stand upright again for several minutes. Then Sunday I thought I was better, less pain, but Sunday night sleeping I was VERY uncomfortable (I was not on Sat PM) every time I moved I was in pain. I woke up yesterday with the intention of going to work, I was stooped over and after using the bathroom, I couldn't reach out to flush. That was pathetic so I decided to stay home curl up on the couch and do nothing. I am much better today.

I did do the fun match on Sunday and agility class last night, once I am upright I am fine. We have an hour between Belle's classes so I sat down, I was a bit stiff getting up to potty walk Belle for her weave class. She was so good the past couple of days! They built a National championship course for our fun match it was so much fun to run, once I figured out how to! Last night in class we worked on serpentine jumps, it was awesome to see Belle figure out she could jump them in practically a straight line! Go Belle! Then in weave class last night I tried a TON of different type of entries and she nailed each and every one of them. I am so glad I took that class.

    Happy Tuesday!

Well, between 6 and 9 inches of wet, heavy, slushy snow fell yesterday and I was dreading the drive to work this morning but it turned out ok.  It all froze overnight so it was, needless to say, a little slick making it horrible for dog walking.  Therefore, the boyz are in daycare today getting nice and tired.  Morrison and I have obedience class tonight so I'm wondering if DH is going to join us.

I know how you feel with your bad back, I've done that a few times myself and ita a PITB!

I had a Dr's appointment this morning.  I've actually managed to gain weight!  Yay!  Never thought I'd be happy to say that.  I asked him about my stomach muscles being sooooo sore already and he said the swimming that I've been doing is about the best thing I could do to help with that.  He also said that flexation exercises will help too and won't harm the baby.  Wow have things changed since the first time I was pregnant!  He also measured my uterus and said,"Um....we did rule out twins right?"  Eek!  I have an ultrasound scheduled for this afternoon anyway, so we'll rule that out for sure.  Could use some good Spread Em vibes for baby.  I wanna find out the sex, but baby didn't cooperate the first time.

Come on baby! We wanna know what you are!!

This file I need to do an assignment for my online class will download, but when I open it, it's blank :/ This darn teacher things the ENTIRE WORLD uses Microsoft. Uh, no, some of us use other things. I think I might have to go to the library on campus and print it, but that's a pita...

I slept like a log last night because BF and I were wrestling and play fighting for at least an hour just before bed.  I'm interested to see what kind of bruises I left on him.  We were both having too much fun!

Training class was good - did some off-leash sit-stays and down-stays and a fight broke out.  Jada did not join it and I was very proud of her - even though she had her hackles up when I returned to her.  She held it together - she is such a quick study.  She gets things SO fast!  I wish I could do AKC Rally with her, but can't.  Guess it's time to look into the other venues.

Hopefully we'll find out whether it's a girl or a boy!  Good luck at your appointment, Candace!

I'm off today, so I think it's time to clean house.  I've been putting off cleaning for a while now, and the apartment is a disaster.  So Honor and I are going to the dog park, Petsmart, then home to clean!  Hopefully she'll be worn out from dog park fun, and won't mind that we spend a fair portion of tonight cleaning.
