• marynh Posted : 4/28/2007 9:14:08 PM I was going to do this with Sadie's fur - beautiful white undercoat. A lady was going to teach me to spin it into yarn and I was going to knit a sweater. It would take literally YEARS of collecting dog fur in order to get enough to make a sweater. The average skein of yarn is 4 - 8 ounces and imagine how much a handful of dog fur weighs.
