    Mindless Chatter - Wednesday

Can I go home now? I have everything checked off my to-do list at work. *bouncing up and down*

Don't bounce too much!!!!!!  You might end up having baby today rather than tomorrow!!!

    haha! =]

I'm excited for baby pictures, I don't know about anyone else!!!

I'm working on my research paper.... powerful stuff, I have to keep taking breaks - I get so involved in this research, it's heartbreaking. Here's a quote - I'll post more later about my topic when I have more of the paper done.

Animal abuse and interpersonal violence toward humans share common characteristics: both types of victims are living creatures, have a capacity for experiencing pain and distress, can display physical signs of their pain and distress (with which humans could empathize), and may die as a result of inflicted injuries.

Oh, I can't wait for baby pictures. You must be so excited! You finally get to meet your baby face to face. Cake Party!!!

I'm all ready to go away with the dogs this weekend. We are going to the Ocean, and Cheza will spend her first night in a hotel. I'm sick of work this week. On top of things I have been looking for a new job which is super stressful. I can't wait to leave Friday morning!

Cheza has me a bit worried though. She peed in her crate last night, and peed on the floor. She had been doing so good with potty training too. She never goes in the crate! The only thing I can think of is the rain yesterday. She really doesn't like to be out in the rain, and I let her out by herself and didn't supervise. I'm thinking she just didn't go when she was outside because of the rain. I guess tonight we will leash up and go out together rain or not. I just hope she doesn't go in her crate at the hotel! We only have 1 crate pad. Maybe I should bring some extra blankets just in case. Indifferent

I'm sooooo excited for Jano's baby. I loooove squishy babies. Could you bottle up some of that baby-head smell and send it to me? Have Rooopy be like a carrier pigeon and bring it to me!

The Susan G. Komen tour was at my college today and I learned all about breast self exams. I was so excited! It was definitely interesting and they had these neat model boobs that had different 'lumps' in them that you could feel!

I officially declare statistics the worst class ever.

Uh, YES. Why it's required, I'll never understand! I took it last semested, and barely made it out alive! Not to mention, I pretty much fell asleep each class because the stuff was so boring!! I'm good at math - but that's just not math - it's torture.

We were told not to put blankets or towels down. The dogs if they have to sit in it will get the point faster. I have to admit, I had the hardest time (but still not hard) with Belle. She would pee in her crate and move the towel/pad into it to sop it up. We don't normally have crate pads, my dog actually now that they are out of their crates prefer the hardwood floor too. Teddi had a crate pad post operatively but that was it. Just a thought for your trip. Cheeza would be fine without a pad for a few days.

    Jan - Good luck!

ha! While I agree that it is a horrible class, I could name a few that are worse!

So I'm back from my tour de' lower Michigan. We started in Lansing, went to Jackson, Detroit, Dearborn, Albion, back to Jackson then back to Lansing. Whew. I'm tired! I was up way too flipping early this morning and I just want to lay down. Too bad that the dogs are all riled up.

I had the dog walker come today and walk the dogs. When I came home my cat was waiting on my deck meowing Tongue Tied He's not an outdoor cat. There's also a big wet spot in my dining room (not sure who it's from). The girl is supposed to come tomorrow too - I guess I'll be leaving her a note.

..... like what. There are more waiting for me out there? I'm finding that hard to believe.....

*sigh* glad I have more fun to look forward to... although, speech class has come in a close second to the worst class ever.

Yikes Julie, I'm glad your cat didn't run away!

I was literally seconds away from shutting down my computer and leaving when a client called needing a change to an ad that was submitted last week. Now I'm sitting here waiting for approval again so I can get it sent out and GO HOME! Tick tock tick tock!

What's worse than statistics?? I'm lucky because I'm an elementary ed major so most of my classes are pretty fun. Just this one - ugh! Speech was pretty bad, but I just did all of my speeches about dog-related stuff.

Go home Jano!! Jeeze, you need to sleep tonight!

    Accounting was pretty bad!

I'm feeling good today.  I fixed up a computer and now it's working really nice.  I'm donating it to a tutoring program even though DH wants to keep it (on MY desk).

I loved statistics and accounting!  Finance too!  Guess it's a good thing I am in the accounting field.  lol!

It has been a long day.  I have been on the phone with a bank all day and FINALLY, after a month of trying, got my online banking issues resolved I think!  I could jump for joy!  I had planned to get 4 tax returns done today, but got sidetracked with the bank thing b/c of a catastrophe they caused....I am about to start my second one.  Guess it will be a long night.
