    rwbeagles- so it's raining BUCKETS

And all Beagles and Buckwheats are safely crated indoors. They all but got stuck in the door trying to get all in at once.

Cleo is at liberty in the house since she's actually the reliable one potty and pickupandchew wise. Cleo has been to the door NUMEROUS times in the past several hours. Diarreah? Bladder Infection?...

    NO!

I CAUGHT HER!....I peeked outside to check and she was PLAYING in the pouring driving rain with a HUGE branch that fell from one of our trees. Grrr....she is *supposed* to run out...pee and run back to the door like the rest do! WHAT THE HECK? I opened the door and she slooooowwwly came inside. BRAT...it took 3 towels to get her "onlysortofdamp".

NO I did not get pictures...I'm not going out in that....hmmph....

LOL - Silly Cleo likes to play in the rain!

It's definitely the time of year to move a supply of towels next to the door.   Wink

How many dogs do you have? Cleo sounds like trip!

It is raining like crazy and my four are inside. Duncan paces back and forth and jumps up any chance he can and runs to the door- yet he wants nothing to do with the rain. LOL  none of mine like playing in the rain but i'm happy most will go potty rain, snow, ice or whatever.

I hear that! Welcome to the world of the rest of us Gina!

Joe would just as soon stand in the rain as come inside and be dry.  It can be thundering and lightening and he'll stand by the door, wanting out.  Mud?  Wooohooo, even better!  I feel for my dogwalker on days like today as she probably doesn't know he won't ask to go back inside.  Joe and Cleo would make great puddle buddies Tongue Tied

P.S. Holy Noah, I should have brought the ark today!  I think I saw animals marching two-by-two when I looked outside this morning.

    Hah!

Mal tolerates the rain, and Indy doesn't care, but Lizzie is, apparently, bipolar about weather. She *hates* getting her toes wet, but once her feet are soaked, she doesn't care anymore and will play till she's a sopping wet MESS. UGH. I dropped her off at the groomer's on my way to work- I normally do all my own grooming, but she was THAT FILTHY. (And no, they won't clip her. :P It's a friend's shop.)

Sampson gets depressed when he cant go for a walk and Maggie is like a toddler...into everything.  So I put on my rain coat and out we went, we just stayed in the neighborhood since it's raining, but nothing too hard.  About 10min into our walk I heard the thunder and then the down pour!  We were running back to the house and Sampson decided he needed to stop and poop!  Are you kidding me?!  So now I have to pick up poo while is coming down hard.  Needless to say, my jeans were so wet and heavy by the time we got home, it looked like I jumped in the pool with my clothes on.  I dried off the dogs, sprayed some smell good on them and back inside we went.  It was fun though!

Gina - can you introduce her to the hair dryer? Rascal loves it - every time I go to dry my hair now he comes running in to the bathroom wanting me to dry him, too! Go figure! And this is the dog who's terrified of such monsters as cardboard boxes and paper towel rolls. Confused  Maybe a hair dryer by the door would help keep the big wet dog at bay?

Charlie has been know to dig his nails into the wood floor so he won't have to go outside in the rain.  I swear, the smell of rain sends him running back under the covers for fear of getting wet.  He's such a baby!!

Bugsy loves being out in the rain, especially thunderstorms, he'll be out there when it sounds like the world is coming to an end just doing his sniffing and exploring as usual.  What makes it especially funny is that he completely freaks out with sprinklers. The smallest tiniest sprinkler and he is like whoa get me out of here.

    BIZARRE!
