I am super excited b/c hubby got out yesterday and cleaned out our flower beds. There is still work to be done but he got all of the nandina out that had taken over everything. I personally don't really like them so I think the beds look so much nicer now being empty than with them in it.
The next phase, after we trim our bushes, is to find some good plants to put in the beds.
Does anyone know of some good websites where I can get good info on plants that is layed out in an easy to use fashion? I need to know things like what temps/climates they are best in, how much sun or water they need, which ones bloom and when, if they are annuals or perennials. I am going to a local nursery probably in the next week to get some input but I would like to do a little research before then so I have some idea what I am getting myself into.
Anway, if anyone has a website they like to use for that kind of info, I would appreciate a link. I want to make sure we have flowering stuff but I also want to make sure that there is some green there even in the winter when most stuff isn't blooming.
