We have finally got them under control with proper diet, hardcore flea prevention and allergy meds. I just wanted to show some updated pics of his coat, it is so much better. I have a question though. From the middle of his back down the hair is still shorter that the rest of his body. Will it ever eventually grow back in all the way? He has been on the meds since January. • matthews Posted : 3/19/2008 1:37:55 PM  Our Quinnie, bless his little soul, had terrible allergies.  Bad enough that his heart enlarged and he had a murmur.  We ended up moving him to an all fish kibble diet and our vet got us allergy shots which which I administered SubQ once a month.  Plus he was on a mild steroid by mouth.  He did much better after that.  However, we believe that the steroid masked his lymphoma which is the reason it made it to stage 5 before we knew he was sick.
