Heartworm pill question

Hi everyone.

I forgot to give Willow her heartworm pill on the 15th. We had plans for the Red Sox which got rained out, then we ended up going to a wedding that we had originally turned down because of the game. Anyway, very hectic day, I'm usually right on top of things when it comes to my dog.

Anyway, does anyone know if I should give it to her now or just skip this month?

And, if I do give it to her do I then give her the next months on time or on the new day??

I would give it now and work yourself back into the normal date over the next couple of months. Better not to take a chance by skipping a month. You are only about 6 weeks out so that isn't too long.

You can give it now, and then resume the normal schedule -- it's such a minimal dose it won't hurt a thing to just go right back to your regular schedule and be done with it.
