wyatt is sick!

RidgebackGermansShep Posted : 4/25/2007 6:38:13 PM Sorry to post it here, but i know i'll get quicker responses than in the health section. anyway, Wyatt has had nasty diarrhea since yesterday morning. I haven't switched his food or anything. I have given him 3 immodiums since yesterday and they haven't seemed to help. I've hardly given him any food since yesterday morning. Should i take him to the vet, or is there anything they can even do? What could possibly be wrong with him? • Amber Murphy Posted : 4/25/2007 7:16:52 PM Our dogs will occasionally get diarrehea for no reason. We give them Pepto and that helps. My Aussie was on it for a while to try to control her vomiting, but that's another story, and for her size it was 1 twice a day. I have a Shepherd mix too and if he get's it I give him 2 twice a day until it's gone, unless it went longer than a couple days, then they'd go to the vet. Good luck.
