sometimes i hate living where i do..... but then on days like this i LOVE it!!
the old guy next door just gave me about two boxes full of meat. home grown (as in i knew the cow) organic naturally raised beef 
i didnt tell him i planned to turn it to dog chow.. well not ALL of it... but i have to say i ran out of food just in time. no sooner did i run out of food for the pups and was about to call DH than the old guy comes riding up on his four-wheeler with the stuff tied on... oh.. in the south the old folks dont need wheel chairs.. they have ATVs!! lol
anyway yep. i'm happy! i also have a hog's head that came with the boxes of meat..... which is a whole other ball of wax (i collect skulls)
one dilemma though. i was also given frozen fish, but these fish have spines along their backs - perch i think they are - i've never fed frozen fish before.. and these are all frozen into two separate fishy ice bergs.. should i let them defrost or would it be ok to give them whole to the big dogs? theres a ton of fish there in each one...
