The end of a season...

    The end of a season...

Well now that I'm back from Colorado, I figure I've carved my last turn for the year. Kinda sad, but there's always next year I guess.  It's been a fun year, having introduced yet another daughter into the sport. I'm totally inpressed with her!  Now I'm totally looking forward to spring. GO AWAY SNOW!!!!!!

Here's some shots from my recent trip! Enjoy...

Plenty of views. I wish I could post them all, there are too many... probably more spectacular than this one. But, there is just something I like about this shot from mid mountain Vail with the sunny day and the clouds casting shadows over the mountains in the distance. It makes a person really feel small.

Speaking of sun, we only had one real day of it. And boy did we get it that day. It was the day we went to Arapahoe Basin (a-basin). Not a cloud in the ski, and we were up so high (peak at 13,000+ feet), the ski was DEEP blue. Incredible.

Most days were like this one, snowing all day on top of the snow received at night. We had a lot of good fresh snow. Even on days like this, the clouds broke occasionally. The majority of the time, it was coming down hard... and sideways. LOL

Here's a buddy finding a nice stash in the trees at Copper Mountain.

Here's another friend munching up some small moguls. Sorry about the pic quality, it's actually a still captured from HD video. I just thought the snow splash was cool.

Here's another shot, taken with my Canon A570 IS...

Here's me finding a bit of powder late in the day at Vail...

    Here's another!

So that's it! Another year of anticipation. But until then, lets get some warm weather. I'm ready to go fishing, and take my family and dog camping!!

It was a ton of fun. We went to a restaraunt where we grilled our own steaks. mmmmmmmmmmmm good.

     mmm steaks. I'm hungry!

Those are great pics. This really makes me want to get another camera. I hate the sucky quality pictures of my current one and miss my old Canon.

I'm ready for spring too. Bring on the camping and hiking trips!

Great pictures!  It's nice that some people can enjoy snow.  I'm not one of them! Smile
