When he was alpha, he would pull out choice parts, like the liver, cook it enough to eat and then put it back in, then drag the carcass. At the feeding site, he got first privileges and would pull out his cooked portion and then allow the others to eat in order of rank. His new status as omega requires him to eat last and he must eat or appear to eat as a member of the pack.
 
As for his health, he is a former marine and trains daily for the rigors of keeping up with the pack. Now, constantly submitting keeps him safe in the pack. At one of the last feedings, his former beta, the big black one, is now beta to the new alpha, and prevents him from eating out of turn. His immune system is improved by eating simple unprocessed foods and cooking the meat just enough to kill e. coli. Living outside with the wolves caused his body to respond likewise and become adaptable to changes in weather. So, a sudden cold snap does not equal getting a cold.

There is one shot in particular where he is eating some of the meat that was leftover off of the rib cage of one of the deer carcasses.

How can he without getting sick? 
If he didn't eat would the wolves attack him?

 I paid very close attention to his"eating"when he came back to the pack..

 If you look,he tries his best to make it look like he is eating,but i do not believe he does anything more than rasie the bones to his mouth and pretend..

It was an interesting show, but I don't think those wolves could make it in the wild. I had a hard time believing he could teach them the different types of howls, what they meant and when to use them. He got them to react to the recording of different wolves howling with a defensive howl, but they could just be copying what he taught them.

Did anyone ever see the documentary of the guy who went to live with bears in the wild? It was called Grizzly Man and it was absolutely hilarious. [sm=rotfl.gif]    I thoroughly recommend it.

 Hilarious until he was killed by one of them..The attack was captured on tape.

  Living with wolves that were hand raised in an enclosure and introducing yourself into the bear population in the wild are a completely different thing.

Yikes, I didn't think the fact that crazy grizzly guy's girlfriend also got killed by the bear was the least bit amusing.
