Cleo is still 46lbs...so she didn't gain OR lose in the 3 days she's been here lol. She did NOT like the slick floors there so we're going to have to work on not laying down when we don't want to do something...lol. Vet loooved her. He's a dogman and was the vet for a Leo specialty so he knows them quite well (he's been around so long he knows about EVERY breed tho)...
Gave her the exam...had a nice deep feel of her pelvis and hips....all well there (he said something interesting about the Leo's pelvis which I won't bore folks with....neat tho)...heart lungs belly good. The peepers and ears and teeth were great.
He cooed over her and she liked him, if not his floors haha!
We went to Petsmart (she sat IN the basket, slick floors there too, you know) and got her a collar that fits better and she's now TOTALLY crashed out hehe.
I cannot believe that this 4/mo old puppy has been in her crate a total of 2 hours counting yesterday (minus sleep time at night) and hasn't done ANYTHING wrong. She lays down or sits... plays with her toys or the kids...and goes to the door to go potty.
The idyll will end soon...teething...I can feel it. But for now it's fun and so relaxing...who knew having a new 46lbs puppy would be RELAXING??
