Purchasing hiking packs for the boys any recomendations?

I've been researching hiking packs for my two dogs.  Right now I'm leaning towards the Kelty Chuck Wagon Dog Pack because it seems more streamlined and less bulky then most of the ones I've found so far.  I was wondering if anyone who has purchased a "doggie backpack" has any recomendations.

     Thanks!

I *loved* Wings' Weneha jogger pack (I still haev it, but I don't use it-it's on my shelf  w/ her collar and things. IMO, it's the best daypack on the market. Durable and not bulky but has plenty of space. (sorry 4 ittalics - cuting and pasting the 'f' since mine is broken on this keyboard... :P

Thanks!  I can't seem to pull up information on this type of pack, do you have a website?

Try Wenaha - I spelled it wrong. :P

Wings' pack is a custom XS- she was 48 pounds and 21". The XS DOES fit Mal with the straps let way out and I'd actually buy it for a dog with a deep but narrow chest that was up to his size (Mal is 25.75", 65 pounds) but narrow. (I'm ordering him a S at some point because he's starting to put on muscle and the small will sit better once he's got more muscle to him.

Wings' pack got DAILY use for most of a year, survived having paches sewn on and pulled off multiple times :P, and is still in great shape. I like the water bottle holders- they are shown in the pictures with sports bottles but will fit a plastic 16oz bottle perfectly- and it sits well on the dog full or empty.

ETA: The custom part of Wings pack wasn't sizing or anything- it was a custom order by it's first owner (I got it as a handmedown) who wanted a purple pack and had them make her one. :)

I personally like the RuffWear packs. The Palisades II comes with a webmaster harness, which is the kind of pack I have for Maddi. It's nice because I can detach the saddle bags. They also have water bladders that you fill up inside the harness so there's not hard knocks from water bottles.
