Kong Biscuit Ball and Booda Dogzilla Dumbbell

We got these 2 products for Apollo, to give him when we go out. Now, the Kong Biscuit Ball, the biscuits just fall out when he's walking with the toy in his mouth; we use all-natural milk bone shaped treats. So, after 5 mins the treats are all out, and he ignores the toy. The Booda Dogzilla Dumbbell, the opening is small at both ends, so, we though we'd just put some dry food in there, maybe with some peanut butter, but Apollo's tounge is way to big to get any of it out, and he ignores it after a couple tries to get the food out. If you have these products what do you put in them? Any ideas what to put in them to keep him busy?

Don't know what to tell you about the dumbbell but for the kong ball try big chunks of apple or carrots or something not quite so bone shaped.  Maybe they won't fall out so easily if the puzzle pieces aren't shaped so perfectly.

Have you tried freezing either one?  Use something liquidy, like yogurt, and as it thaws it will dribble out causing endless fun (I imagine).

We use a kong stuffed with kibble and a bit of peanut butter over the opening - then freeze it.

It works perfect because the square shape makes them less likely to just tumble out.  But, be warned, the Kong makes a lot of racket when tossed around.  Which is exactly what Indie does until it doesn't rattle anymore.  But it keeps him good and occupied for about 30-40 minutes with just 6-8 treats inside it.  But the KONK!  KONK!  KONK! is sometimes annoying.  Woobie will follow him around letting him do all the work and the minute the treat pops out, he'll grab it!  Rotten stinker!  LOL!
