    Wiggles(huskymom)

Psst.... the baby's wiggling.  I'm just shy of 18 weeks and I thought I felt something this morning when I was waking up, but I wasn't really sure.  Since being pregnant with Kali is still so fresh in my mind, the weaker sensation was odd.  But its all coming back to me now!  Thought I'd share, BF is at work...

How cool!  Congrats on the little "wiggler."

Hey Candace, are you hoping for a boy or girl?

Weeee! Babies. I thought you were talking about the TV show the wiggles. I always get strangely sucked into that show and I have to be quick to change the channel or I watch the full 30 minutes of it.

Amanda, I'm leaning towards a girl again, but I'll be happy either way.  I just find girls easier, plus I still have most of Kali's clothes.  Kale's are long gone.

OMG!  This is so sad, but I totally know what you mean!  I have the same issue with 4Square.  Tika Tika, Tika Tika, Tee Tee Ta.....I've gotta rythym, Gonna share it with y'all!  Yes I watched it today and yes the song is stuck in my head.  It rarely leaves.

That's exciting, isn't it? When I first started feeling it, I had a hard time telling if it was the baby or gas.  Big Smile

I'm still feeling kicks low, so I'm afraid the baby is still breech. I hate to say it, but I'm actually looking forward to getting kicked in the ribs so I know he/she's head-down.

My baby has recently started getting the hiccups. Smile

Oh, what's that other show? The one Gina so kindly introduced us to? The yummy-in-my-tummy one? Jeeze, now I have that song in my head.

Janice, you have lots of time yet for the baby to flip.  Don't worry.  Kali flipped around the 35 week mark, and Kale was later, like 38 I think.  I know its hard to wait, but TRUST me, rib kicks are no fun!  NO FUN!  My lower ribs I think actually would shift out of place sometimes and that would cause a really really sharp pain.  And then she started with the roll overs.  And for some reason it was always in the middle of the night.  I would wake up and stare in horror at my huge belly shifting from one side to the other.  It didn't really hurt, per se, but it was a ton of pressure all at once and very unnerving to someone half asleep.  The first time Tyler saw it he jumped out of bed and started rushing around.  He thought I was going into labour!

These kicks are the little fluttery kind of BALOOMP kind.   I didn't mistake them for gas this time.  But I did wonder if it was my imagination.  I can still once in a while imagine Kali's full term kicks, so these ones are kind of in the background going,''Look! I'm here too!''  Does that sound wierd?

I miss being pregnant. I had an easy pregnancy. Heck I didnt start showing until I was 7 months and I never had to wear maternity clothes either!!

I would sit in the bathtub and watch Samantha move around. JJ thought it was gross. LOL.

Kle, that's how my first pregnancy was.  Well, I started showing at the end of November, by December I was as big as I got, and I had Kale at the beginning of March.  But I was like,''I don't know what everyone is complaining about, this is a breeze!''  I totally understand now.

    • Gold Top Dog

Yes I was always wondering what people complained about. Mine was a breeze!! And Samantha was a good baby too. She was sleeping thru the night at 3 weeks. The doctor told me I was supposed to wake her up and feed her. I didnt do it. Heck if she was hungry she would wake up. She is a healthy happy 2 year old so I dont think I did a bad job.

I didnt even know I was in labor when I was!! We had to call JJ's mom to ask her. We went to the hospital an hour after calling her and my water broke 10 minutes after getting there. Then the PAIN came. Oh but they gave me a nice medicine that made it go away.

Yup, thats pretty much how Kale was.  Easy peasy.  Kali was different.  She was the result of a tougher pregnacy.  I had BH contractions for the last 2 months, so when I actually went into labour I almost passed it off as those.  In fact I did until they got to the ''Holy Crap, I can't move'' stage.  They had to put my IV in during contractions because they didn't have enough time in between.  She was born about an hour and a half after we got there.  I missed out on the good meds and the jacuzzi.  But they gave me a really fun mask that made me giggle.

That reminded me of when my sister was pregnant!  She called me one night and was telling me what was going on and I told her "Umm, Jennifer, you're in labor, go to the hospital!"  She then told me that she needed to shower first!!  I actually beat her to the hospital!!

Congrats on the baby wiggles!  I think that was the coolest part of being pregnant!

Congrats on the baby wiggling around! Best feeling in the world!

Btw I also second that ribs kicks is very very not fun lol. My son went head down at about 34 weeks, and I swear my ribs were bruised near the end lol.
