Didja see it, didja?

I'm not into car racing, but how exciting for you!  

 That's really neat to know!  Living close to an AF base, we get to see the Thunderbirds every couple years at the Open House, so next time I will think of what an awesome paint job he did.  Of course, they are awesome anyways!

 They are awesome, aren't they?  This will be the third year in a row we'll see them.  Two years ago they were at the air show at our oldest son's base.  Last year they were at McGuire, and will be there again this year.  Three years ago we saw the Navy's Blue Angels.  They're good, too, but I'm partial to the 'Birds.  :)

 I am partial to the Thunderbirds also...I'd better be, since Hubby is a graduate of the Air Force Academy!  But I have to say it really is an experience to stand in your back yard and watch those guys flying right over your house.  For many years, we went on base to catch everything, but now we see what we can see from here.  The walking distance to get on base is just too much now.  But they are wonderful from whatever vantage point you might be!

Not yet.  We weren't at the race.  But we're going to the air show at McGuire at the end of May.  You can bet there'll be pictures then.  LOL
