Coco strikes again

    Coco strikes again

My dad had to go out of town for school and my stepmom went to Florida to visit her family.  Guess who gets volunteered to watch Coco?!?!  I went over last night to spend the night with her so I could take her to the Vet this morning to be boarded.  I get there and she has a chicken.  One that was bought from the store and has the plastic hook in it to deep-fry.  Well, the wings were gone and so were the breasts and part of the legs.Luckily it was already cooked!  I called dad to see if maybe someone had given it to her.  He said no.  That sneaky dog went to a neighbor's house and stole their dinner!! It smelled like it had been grilled. Dad was mad and told me to get her inside. The funny thing is, no matter where or what it is, if it's dead, this dog WILL find it!!

Eek! Not lucky - cooked chicken bones can be dangerous!! Raw would have been much better.

Hope Coco is ok, and well-supervised, she sounds like a handful [&:]

Do the neighbors know where their dinner went [:D]?

I hope they don't find out!  I don't think they will be as forgiving as I was!  Coco is fine!  I personally don't know how my dad deals with her.  She can't sit still for 5 minutes!  I was up and down all night last night and everytime I'd get up, she was sleeping in a different place!  She had me up at 5:30 this morning so she could go outside.  She is used to my dad being up by 4:00!  I wanted to hurt her!!!  I let her out, got back to bed and the phone rang two hours later.  Dad calling to check on his baby!  I gave up on the sleep and just took Coco to the vet early!

Ummm... well I have to say I'm glad this dog is not my neighbor. I think I would have at least offered to buy them a pizza... I'd be mortified if my dogs did this. But I would fess up...

I hope you told the vet that she had consumed chicken bones and to watch her for symptoms of a bone splinter!!
