Great place to adopt from (all over USA)

Hearts United for animals... check it out.  I know people who have adopted from them and said it is a great organization.  They have a lot of dogs and many are sought after small breeds.  Even if you cannot adopt, you can be a buddy to a dog in need.

They will adopt to good homes all across the country.

OMG look at all those cuties !!!!  I try not to go to many "pets for adoption" websites - (a) it breaks my heart that there are so many wonderful little furbabies out there without forever homes and (b) it makes me start to wonder how many I could fit in MY home and would I make a good pack leader.

But I did bookmark the site - you just never know !  thanks for sharing.

I do hope they list these wonderful dogs and cats on Petfinder also - alot of people use Petfinder and it would be a great way to get the word out.

Oh GingerRogers is a beauty !    And I agree about the sad stories .... it really breaks my heart - I saw about 12 dogs that I would love to invite to live here !!!  This rescue place looks amazing - I'm glad the dogs all have such a lovely temporary home

I've bookmarked the site.  I've already warned my SO lol that once we have our own place we will be a mulitdog household.  Our first pup will be from a breeder, but from there on out will most likely be adopting.

Gah some of the stories there are breaking my heart.  I want to scoop them all up!

Very nice place out there.  I've not had the chance to go myself, but I've heard nothing but good things about them.  My only problem is that you have to put an app in before you can see the dogs you are interested in.  I understand their reasoning for it though.

I wrote them to see which airline they recommend for flying dogs, since they do that quite often. They replied right away and were quite nice and knowledgable.

They don't adopt to Alaska, though. Not enough direct flights.
