    Sometimes love requires calming breaths...

A couple of hours ago I take my medication and am starting to feel groggy when DH comes downstairs and asks me if I want to go to the store.  I'm thinking he means the little one down the road so I ask why, and he tells me he wants to go to the big one about 20 mins drive away to look for a new phone.  I've been complaining about our cordless phone for a while, the battery keeps losing its charge really quickly.  (Like after 5 minutes even if it's been charging all night.)

So I say ok, and we go.  In the car on the way he says he thinks we should get a phone that is a landline and an internet phone in 1.  OK, fine, means I can call Lani for practically nothing. We get there and I just KNOW he's going to be a man about this and want to make all the decisions etc etc even though 99% of the internet phone stuff will be done by me, so I leave him to it and go look at other stuff because this store has a decent collection of clothing as well and I want some new yoga pants.

So after 45 minutes of doing who knows what, DH has finally picked out the phone he's decided on.  Fine.  We pick up a couple of other things we need, pay, and leave.

Get home, I open the bag and look at the box. In HUGE LETTERS on the side it says "Not compatible with Apple Mac."  Well now.  The fact that I use a Mac is not news, he's set up both the PC's in the house in specific ways (software etc) that suit him because I NEVER use them.  He said about 5 times "well having this will be really convenient for you..."  Um..yeah...not if I can't use it!  That's the ONE thing he should have checked for.

Deep breaths.  And when we need a new washing machine, he can go look at socks.
