Grey strikes again

About two hours ago, Brett and I had an errand to run before we took Brown and Grey to their favorite spot in town, Bops, a frozen custard place that always has treats for them. So in the 10 minutes we were gone, someone ate a Minwax Blend-fil pencil [linkhttp://minwax.com/products/woodmaint/blendfil.cfm]http://minwax.com/products/woodmaint/blendfil.cfm[/link] (essentially colored wax). I've been looking for that thing for weeks, and I have no idea where it went to, although I think I can blame some orange and white cat for hiding it from me. So we walked in to find several chunks of really odd brown and yellow-orange thing on the ground...it actually looked like chunks of chocolate chip cookies. I couldn't imagine what it was, and after about five minutes of sitting there going, "What the hell is this?" Brett realized it was the wax pencil that's been missing for ages. I still have no idea where he got it from, but when I pulled out another Mixwax pencil, Grey dropped to the ground and hid his head under the table.[sm=lol.gif] Gee, I wonder who's guilty.

Meanwhile, I tried looking online for a list of what goes into those things but couldn't find one. Any idea what's in those things other than wax?

I don't know what was in it, but i hope they still got to go for their treat!

I searched and searched for almost an hour. I kept having trouble because there are so many kinds of waxes. If you're having any doubts and want to check with animal poison control, 1-888-426-4435. I think they can look stuff up, not sure though.

Kind of off topic, do those pencils work??

I think they are made out of wax and are similar to crayons. He will probably poop out the whole pieces. That's what happens whenGypsy eats the boys' crayons except we have NEON poop! You haven't lived until you have scooped poop with bright orange and turquoise chunks in it![sm=lame.gif]

Well, apparently it's just pretty waxy...found glossy, rich brown poo today. Go figure.

Yeah, they're pretty decent. I tried it on our bed because the cats' back claws scratched it when they'd jump from there. The cuts were too deep to really fill so my dad is going to have to refinish the top of the bed. However, the pencil did fill it up enough for me to go over it with a Minwax stain pen to get the color closer to the bed. So it was a pretty decent temporary fix until I move home and get it fixed. Now, I did fix Brett's aunt's door with a Minwax stain pen when Brown freaked out there once. It covered so well that you couldn't tell the door was once scratched.

Geez, I feel like I missed out. We didn't have all those groovy neons when I was a kid. One of our dogs ate the red, blue, and yellow and my brother and I thought it was kinda funny when we saw the rainbow poop later on.

Grey, you are such a silly boy! Hope it's no worse than glossy poopers!
