Miscarriage.

    Miscarriage.

Okay, so a lot of you know now that I've recently had a miscarriage.

I'm not trying to be gross, but I'd just like some opinions and/or some advice.

The weekend after I found out, I bled for 7 days. Then I stopped for 3 days. Then I wasn't bleeding or having cramps. Even when I was bleeding, I wasn't having much pain. All of a sudden, last Friday.. I started hurting really bad. It feels like it did when I was in the ER. [[HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CRAMPS!]]

I'm taking asprin about every 3 hours. I've tried Motrin, Tylenol and Tylenol 8HR. None of them are relieving my pain more than 2 hours. My blood work came back and my hormone level is only like a 1 or a 2, so they told me I don't have an infection.. but I feel something is really wrong. I'm also having a yellow/green-ish discharge. Not much, but there is some.. so I've just been using pantyliners. I'm sorry that's weird, but I just don't want to waste money going to the doctor if I don't have too.

    Any advice/comments/opinions would be great.

I understand not wanting to go to the Dr., but I think this is one of those times when you absolutely must and you should call and schedule it ASAP. What you're feeling isn't normal and following a miscarriage, I think you need to see a Dr. I hope you can get in soon and find out what's going on.

Should I just call and ask to see the OB/GYN?

If you have a regular Dr. or a Gyn Dr., that's who I would call. Do you have a Dr. that you see for routine stuff?

I agree w/ Cakana, you will need to go the Drs.  The yellow greenish discharge sounds like an infection.  I would go and get yourself checked out.  It's always better to be safe than sorry.  Good Luck, and let us know how it goes.

Whether you go to your regular doctor, or an OB/GYN, I would call and tell them, they will probably want to see you immediately.  Even if your doc. isn't available, as to see one that is.  Don't put it off!  Good Luck!

I don't have any advice to add, but I just want to say I am so sorry this happened to you.  I hope you will be feeling better soon, and if you ever need to talk, I am here.

Go to the doctor NOW. You could have a missed abortion or some other issue. Green/yellow discharge and pain which is unrelieved is an indication for immediate treatment. Could it be nothing? Yeah, but I would not risk it.

Absolutely agreed -- go back to the doctor. Pain, in that case, is an indicator of a problem and the discharge is also very scarey.    Sorry hon -- I know that isn't the answer you want, but it's true.     Good thots and prayers for sure!!!!

Considering Kelly is a doctor, I'd take her advice and get to the doctor.

I went today, and got checked out.

They said everything is fine and the pain may be just because I might be starting my period. They said the discharge was white but it may have just shown up greenish. I don't know.. I just didn't think it was normal to be having this much pain. This is worse than when I have my periods and it's even worse than when I was actually going through the miscarriage. [Well, it was.. I think now it's going down a bit]

I'm glad you went.  I'm figuring you did, but had to ask...did you tell them the pain is worse than any of the normal cramps you get when your period is coming?  I've never miscarried, so, I don't know anything really about it.  I just worry, when I hear you in so much pain, worse than normal cramps.  It doesn't sound right to me, either.  Maybe you can take some motrin, or ibprophen to help w/ the pain.  Or, try using a heating pad, on your stomach.  I hope you feel better soon, and am glad they didn't find anything wrong. Take care!
