    stray kitty

Found this little unneutered boy crying and shivering in the cold.  He's a doll.  Trying to find him a home.  My DH, last line of defense, was heard to say, "That is one cool cat."   No help at all.   When he does go, he will be greatly missed. We call him Twister or Scoundrel, whichever applies at the time!

Oh, bless you for taking him in, he is so handsome!

I went home last weekend to visit with my parents and was shocked to see a cat there. We had cats growing up, which my father did not like, he was just not a cat person. He swore he would never own another cat again once us kids were grown up and out of the house. So I was surprised to see a very beautiful female kitty in the house! He told me she was outside in the barn and had been there all fall, he'd feed her and she'd catch mice. Once the winter weather started setting in, he'd find her huddled in the corner trying to stay warm, shivering away. It was enough to melt his heart, and now my parents are owned by Mitsy, their new cat. Smile

So, will your new kitty be staying, too? Wink

Love your dad story.  My DH is a former non-cat person, too.  I'd love kitty to stay, but we're at our animal limit for the city.

not to be the mean one here... but make sure you get Mr. Kitty tested for FIV before letting him around your other cats, if you have any. If not, then... enjoy your new kitty!

    He's a handsome boy!

2 of my 4 cats were strays that 'were not staying' too... I know how that goes!!

He's a beaut!  You won't have a hard time finding someone to take him.  Although, my daughter just came in the room while I was viewing the pic (and "no Emily you can't have him!";), that said, she thinks you should keep him!

I'd love to keep him Emily, but I can't.  You, however, may feel free to adopt him!

Thanks for the advice about Fel lk Erica.  I am taking precautions, though it's tough!

HAH!  Emily isn't here!  Thank goodness!  What are you trying to do to me?  LOL  One sh*tty kitty is enough!  But if he wasn't so sh*tty, we probably would take him!  And yes, she's still not in the room, so she can't hold me to this!

He's beautiful! A very pretty face. I'm sure he's awfully happy to have been rescues :)
