    Mindless chatter - Sat

*yawn* I don't know why I'm so tired today but I just can't seem to get my butt moving. All I want to do is sleep. I have loads of stuff to do today too.

We're supposed to get a winter storm tonight. I don't believe it though. Everytime they predict a winter storm we only get like 2 inches. That's no storm! 1 foot is a storm. 2 inches is a dusting. Of course they're calling for sleet after midnight but I don't know that I even believe that. Here's what they say "Snow and sleet accumulation little or none. Ice accumulation less than one quarter of an inch" Please! This isn't one of the SW states that never sees this kind of weather. Why put the population in a panic?

OK, off my soap box ;p

I'm going to check out the MSU doggy competitions today. Oh and I need to get my secret santa thing in the mail. I'm so behind.

I tripped and fell trying to climb over the baby gate in to the computer room this morning. That was really gracefull. The cat looked at me like WHAT was that? Now I have rug burns on my knees!

lol jewlieee, don't worry about being behind, I have to go to the post office today to put mine in the mail as well.

But see, that is the problem I might have.  Today is my town's santa clause parade.  It will start at one side of the town and then go to the other side of town. The parade starts at 11.  Well, no problem right?  Right...IF you lived in a town that had more than ONE road.  All we have is one main road through the entire town.  Which you can drive through in 10 minutes, tops.  Said road will be closed.  I have to only hope that because they are starting at the other end of town that they won't close off my part of town, where i live and where i have to go to, until I get there lol.  Getting back I will figure something else out.  But lol if they have it closed when i leave, I won't even be able to leave my damn neighbourhood, because I am on North Hill, which is the way opposite side of town lol.  DAMMIT!!!!!!

I am going to dry my hair and go soon, but I am so worried lol BUT I have my santa box allll ready to go :D  I think I kind of went overboard though lol I love buying gifts for people and dogs!!

I hope everyone has a great day, and wish me luck!!

I know why my butt isn't moving yet - it's frozen.  We had a freeze warning last night and I'm sure it got down that low because it was 35 at 9:30 a.m.  I actually scooped up "frosty poops" this morning.  Does that sound like a breakfast cereal or what? Smile

Well I slept in this morning and almost missed getting Maze's christmas pictures done. But they had extended the time by an hour so I was able to make it. Everyone loved Maze's jingle bells!! There was a poor mastiff there that had stepped on a nail so his foot was all bandaged up, his mom said he did it a month ago but he's still sucking it up and acting like a baby. It was funny. The good thing is the snow held off til I got home.

Down side is I still have to go shopping up the hill.. I'm thinking about taking Maze with me and stopping at the park to let her play. I dunno yet. Overall today is a VERY lazy day Smile

This morning started off on the wrong foot.  Madison stayed with my dad last night and I decided to stay up until 4 am.  I was sleeping so good when All three of the dogs went crazy.  I got up and heard someone beating on my door.  I was ill and still tired at 10.  I yanked open the door and stood there in my Spongebob pajamas.  It was 2 Johova's Witnesses.  I was not too happy.  I told them that I was sleeping and I closed the door.  Dad brought Madison home at 3 and she has been a terror ever since.

Well, its my FIRST day of vacation YAY! Otto and oliver allowed me to sleep in to 6:30am thank god. Would have liked 8 but you take what you can get with the chizillas. We just returned from a chihuahua meet-up at my favorite little pet boutique SPOT on robertson. There were about 40 chihuahuas there and lots of fun shopping for a nice discount. I got Oliver a awesome collar since he is big now and some ziwi peak/Evo small bites/NV frozen beef. My name is Kelly and I'm a dog food addict. Hello everyone ;) The collar is really cute though, it's nice and thick double sided brown leather with turquoise stones. They even had a caterer there with yummy treats. These meet-ups are really fun.

ooh, Kelly, that collar sounds gorgeous - I love turquoise.

I am sick of dealing with an intact male dog who takes it upon himself to mark things in the house.  The boyfriend refuses to neuter, and the dog is extremely smart, so he always does it whenever BF is out of sight or not home.  (I have yet to catch him in the act,but it's clearly him by the height, projection, and choice of spot - this is definitely marking.)  The dogs are generally good (he has a female, too), but if I find one more spot of pee from the male....  You know, I understand why he's doing it... but we just had new couches delivered today and the thought of him peeing on them...

Ok I am going to bed before I get any more irritated.  Hope you all have a nice night!  :)

You need a belly band for that big guy! My sister had to buy one for her Smooth fox terrier.  he's just getting old--NOT marking. Also have the boyfriend clean up the messes, NOT YOU.

DSs stayed at church last night for a lock in.  They came home at 8 a.m. and went directly out to participate in Scouting for Food, the Scouts getting food donations for the local food bank.  When they came home, cold and wet, they were beat.  I had grilled cheese, tomato soup, chips and fruit for them.

While they and DH were gone, I went to the shelter, the dollar store, the neighbor's house and came home to build a fire, fold laundry, vacuum and of course, make lunch. I was  BUSHED!

We spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out and snoozing for a bit.  Then we watched "A Christmas Story" ("You'll shoot your eye out!";) and I got sub sandwiches for all of us and we decorated the Christmas tree.
