Multiple Dogs

That is a great photo.  Goes to show you what a calm home atmosphere can do for the dogs' comfort.  Its a great way to see if dogs are nicely socialized and a great way to teach a dog to be more social.  Play and sleep are two major social events in my house.

No it's not unusual at all. In fact I always thought my two were unusual in that they don't really snuggle with one another, though they do happily lay next to each other. They made a liar out of me the other day and actually slept snuggled pretty much on top of one another on the couch for about an hour though.  

Now THAT is a dog-day afternoon! LOL  It's a pack thing -- there's lots of comfort in that shared heartbeat/shared breathing thing.

 Mine don't do that.  Sometimes they will lie on the floor facing each other with just noses touching, but thats about as close as they get.  Huskies are notorious for the husky swirl whereby they curl up in a ball and tuck their noses under their tails.  Its not often you see huskies curled up together.  Mind you that may be because they are staked where they can't reach each other.

It doesn't seem unusual at all to me...it just shows how comfy the dogs are together and with your son.  It looks warm and snuggly for the dogs but how long did your son last before the weight and heat made him move?

That is one of the sweetest shots I've seen in a loooooooooong time.  I love that pile 'o pups (especially Astra).

Sammy's an only doggie, but he likes to curl up with his human pack!!
