Do you buy gifts for your Vet, groomer, breeder, trainer, ....

I know many of us buy our dog's  Christmas gifts but how many buy gifts FROM your dog for others who are not family members??

My pack buys a gift for the pack of grandkids and Dad , they often buy them for the two legged siblings that care for them when we are on the road...  Once in a Blue moon we buy for other 4leggers.

But what about the dog rlated people in our and thier lives?? What do you buy? For who and how do you deliver it?

I have a vet, his staff , a mom in New York who is longing for her boy and a pair of  Breeders to buy for this year.. Any suggestions??  Our friends and we , exchange dog type gifts all the time , from expensive art to handmade gifts.  So let's hear from all of you clever folks !!??!!

I already had to dip into savings so I can afford cheap gifts for actual people, lol!  The dogs will not be getting any gifts, nor will they be giving any.  If I could buy doggie gifts, I'd get something like gourmet dog treats from the local rescue (they have a little shop in the building where they keep the cats), or something like that where the money goes to the rescue.

I am the groomer, and they didn't come from a breeder. I'll likely buy some stuff for the shelter on our big discount days at work, since they're pretty flooded right after Christmas. That sort of counts as the breeder, LOL. The trainer will probably get a gift, since we're good friends.

Nope. Can't afford it, but probably wouldn't anyway. I'm just not that close to many people. I buy gifts for my kids, stick a toy in a stocking for the dogs, and I might buy a gift for DH if he doesn't want to pick something out himself, but that's it. I have three extra crates and three extra x-pens though, and I am probably going to donate at least two of them.

I usually buy X-mas cookies and candy for the vet's office......so, they can munch on some stuff.....also, the guy that comes over and does our lawn gets a little bonus......it is the season to be merry......eh.....

Sometimes I do make food for the vet staff if I happen to be going around a holiday, like this year having the pup.  But it is also tough this year with the house under construction, so we are not really in a festive mood all crammed into half a house with 4 dogs, 6 parrots and 2 ferrets.  Fa-La-La-La-LA......

Last year, one of my Poodle people brought me a pair of Christmassy Poodle socks, and I loved them. I groomed and walked her two Standard Poodles. Silly little stuff like that usually makes dog nerds happy. If you make a big batch of sugar cookies, and cut them into doggy shapes, those are fun. Gingerbread would work really well, too. If you had an assortment of cookie cutters, you could pick everybody's breeds and give them those cookies. Giving out homemade dog cookies is also a BIIIIIIG hit. Things like that are inexpensive, as well. It costs, like, $2 to make a batch of sugar cookies. You can put them on a holiday decorated paper plate, and people are just thrilledSmile

I think we'll be baking cookies for the vet this year, since we have been there so much and they always find a place for us in the schedule whenever I call.

Other than that, not so much. I need to be saving for the next trip to the vet... Wink

I'll probably bake some kind of nummy dog treat for my trainer's dogs.
