Hot Christmas Items this year.....

My nephew has three little girls (14, 12 & 9) and they love love love shopping at Claires. For those of you  not familiar with Claires, it's a chain that carries hair ornaments of all kinds, purses, accessories, jewelry etc. all geared toward younger girls. This year I got each of them a gift certificate from there.  They're pretty reasonably priced all the time anyway, but after Christmas they should be able to have a ball in there.

Oh great idea Joyce!  Kortnee LOVES Claire's and The Icing too which is very similiar.  I used to love that store when I was young also.

mmmm yes!!  When I was 11 I LIVED for Claires and Icing, lol.  I know younger and younger kids are getting iPods and Nanos, but that's quite pricey.   iPod accessories if she already has one?  My friend is very girly and is really into the Sims computer game.  I don't know much about it, but maybe there is one for her age group?  I could also see an 11 year old using a cheap digital camera.  You can actually get decent Canons and Nikons for $100 (probably cheaper now with all the sales).

My Emily is 11 and very much a girly girl!  Of course she wants a Wii, because we have practically all the others, so why not one more, and why not the hardest one to find!  Uuuggghhh, reminds me of the power rangers trying to find the yellow & pink one!  Found those in Canada! 

Emily wants a digital camera, I noticed that was said, and that is an excellent gift idea!  She also loves Hannah Montana, so maybe her CD, or there are some DVD's such as Suite Life of Hannah Montana, (they are two shows on NIK or Disney where they combined the two shows into a special), MP3 player that's very popular w/ girls!  Kareoke machine so they sing and dance along.  Guitar Hero video game, or dance revolution.  Highschool Musical movies, CDs, etc.  Emily, too loves Claires and clothes. Although, Emily is too young for makeup (to wear out of the house anyways) we did get her a big makeup kit at Walmart that had all kinds of different eye shadows, blushes, lipsticks, w/ a built in mirror.  She loved that!  Well, that's all I can think of...Good Luck!

Oh yes Hannah is BIG TIME. ALLLL the little girls want to be Hannah. So I'd check out stuff branded by her.

I never have watched a single show and have no idea what it's about. Lily has said a couple of her friends like her but she much prefers Pokemon or anything else animated over live action for now. She's only 6 tho.

I have an 11-year-old girl.  She wants Bitty Babies (American Girl).  Is that weird for her age?

She wants Pegasus (She's into Greek mythology)

She wants Webkinz (she has some already) Another kind of youngish thing!

I don't know who Hannah Montana is.     

My daughter already has a digital camera and that's one of her favorite things.  She makes a lot of scrapbooks.  That could be fun for your friend.

Does she have a sport she's interested in?  If not, you could get her xx skiis or ice skates or something you can do together.
