    Boots for pointed toes?

Sam has pointy toes. He also has fur that attracts a ton of snowballs. I have been looking for boots, but anything in his size has toes that are bigger than the heel (not the correct term I'm sure)That were probably made for a lab/sporting foot. Where can I find a boot with more narrow toes?

Are you just trying to keep snowballs off or trying to keep his feet warm? Baby socks might work if you just want to keep snowballs off. They won't really keep his feet warm, though.

I just need the snowballs off. I tried baby socks today, and they all fell off...if I duct tape them, will they stay on?

Hehe! Gotta love duct tape! That did give me an idea though - you could try holding them on with Vet Wrap. It only sticks to itself. We used it for bandaging horse's legs all the time because it came off easy and didn't stick to their coat. Would be pretty time consuming, though. I wonder if baby booties might work better. You know, the kind with the extra ring of elastic around the tops. It's hard to keep almost onything on dog's feet. They don't really have a heel that can hold boots or socks on.

This is probably a stupid question..but have you tried trimming or shaving his feet?

All the hair on his feet is really short, but it is undercoat-like and it won't matter what length it is. I tried last year, and his feet regrew like bushes.
