Register AKC or Not?

• Register AKC or Not? Karin Rex Posted : 1/21/2007 1:05:17 PM I've had Pronto since Thanksgiving and realized that I have not yet filed his AKC papers. Is there any real reason/benefit for doing so? He's a companion dog, never to be shown and will be neutered. Is there any compelling reason for me to spend the money on registering him? I don't show or do competitive obedience or anything so it doesn't matter to me.
