What is your recall word?

Add me to list of corrupted "come" callers.  The inside recall is kissy noises, his name or "Oi!"   Outside, the never fail recall word is...  "Goodbye" :)

I use 'Front' because I have a Malcolm and "Malcolm Come" is very hard to say!!

Interesting.  I've used "let's go" on walks on leash to mean quit sniffing and keep going in the direction I"m going.  If we're out on a hike, it works because they're off-leash and I'm basically walking away from them.  "this way" also comes into play if they take a path that I don't plan to take, so I "this way" them to let them know we're not going that way.

    Me, too.

"Come" works most of the time for me.  Sometimes I say, "come-come, or come here" and if I want them to follow me, I say "This Way!"  They always follow me without fail...usually I'm enthusiatic with that command...and sometimes clapping.

I think that I've got a bad habit of saying "come on" when I am being lazy and just want them to move out of my way...to which I would usually say, "move" and it always works better, lol.  I always say please & thank you, as well.

If I want Cassidy to come over to where I'm at, (and she's usually running around somewhere and I can't always see her) then I whistle or else yell her name and say Come. I realize I use the same word in obedience recalls, but I think she understands the difference. If I have her sit and stay, then walk away and turn around, then I say, Cassidy, Come! And that means to come and sit in front of me. When I'm just practicing,  I'll say Front when she gets closer, so that she'll come in close to me and sit, but in a competition or whatever, I just have to say Come. If we're just wandering around and she's running and exploring, I'll call her name and she comes closer to me, like to check up, and then she can go ahead and go again. It sounds pretty confusing, but at least we understand each other! [;)]

For Mirelle, her recall command is Here, and I  pretty much use that whenever I want her to come to me. If we're outside and I want her to follow along with me, I say something like 'This way' or 'C'mon'.
