Need Advice - Crazy Neighbor

My mom thought I was crazy when I said it, and I can't be positive, but I swear my neighbor throws his dog's poop over the fence into my yard.

Because I'm an obsessive dog mom, I know what my dog's poop looks like. I feed them Innova Evo(Boss) and Eagle Pack(Gracie).. I know that color and roughly the size their poop are. But, when i am out raking poop I always find some that are so not the color of my dog's poop, and much much larger than anything my dog's ever put out.

My neighbor's dog is a very overweight, underexercised lab who eats Purina. The man has no yard to speak of.. he has like 20 bikes, 15 lawnmowers, some boats, trucks, motorcycles, old bank safes, etc. in his yard (the yard is only about 50 by 50) and all this is in addition to his garage and shed.. there is no room for his dog to even walk around let alone drop a turd and him have a place to leave it there for long.

Well, yeah, and it just doesn't look the same dropped from a dog as it does dropped from a shovel!!  Todd thought I was nuts too until he started helping with cleanup on the weekends and realized, gee, our dogs don't poop this much OR this color, and never with shovel creases in it!

I've been trying to think of a way to help you. I, too, dislike confrontation, even here in the the forum. So, at least in person, I get confrontational right back. In the good old days, me and some biker friends could set up perimeter guard and when the COM came out, we could just say that we're here to stop the drift of dogpiles and be there with cameras. More than likely, that old man is waiting with a camera so that he can catch you putting the stuff back onto his lawn, if you had decided to do that. My old friend, Lee had a way of telling you to stop something and it didn't involve yelling and he never had to say it more than once.
 
I agree that the polite ways are probably the best. I've seen footage of people doing bad things to neighbors and the onle way to catch them was to set up a video camera.
