Okay, rules of English again:
If you want to show possession, then you do put the apostrophe. "Maplerun's Big Giant Doggie."
However the possessive of a name ending in S has ONLY the apostrophe, and you do not pronounce another S. So "Tairus' Big Giant Doggie" would be correct, NOT "Tairus's."
You never, ever use an apostrophe to show there is more than one thing. Dogs, horses, hippos, NOT dog's, horse's and hippo's. More than one thing, no apostrophe. If you are showing it belongs to something, you do use an apostrophe.
