Your hotel lobby should have a whole rack of brochures for local dog trainers. Then you can just sigh and point. [sm=lol.gif]
I do have a list of dog friendly resteraunts, hotels, and dog parks....I will defintly look into that. Dotn get me wrong, it isnt all bad I see so many great families with dogs ad it brightens my day. Last week we had a lady come in with her Rottweiler and her 7 puppies who were only 5 weeks, ah I spent so much time on the lawn playing with the lil guys and she didnt mind paying the extra $150 for the carpet cleaning, he he!
We have a Cavalier Spaniel family who has 4 of them and they are so obediant! Its a great sight to see them all walking calmly in a row like lil ducks!
I think my fav is the family who brings their Cane Corso because its rare to see them and the dog Bella, actualyl herds the children of they get to close to the street THAT is amazing!
We have one VERY fearful aussie mix who cringes at everything. Her owners work so hard and it has been inspiring to see her progress over teh past 2 years. The first time I met her she barked and lunged as I tried to walk to her directly and pet her on the head. Since then I have learned to ignore her at first and hold my hand out to the side as a invitation whie enot looking at her at all. A year ago that same dog approached me by a roundabout approach, she walked the whole wall and came up behind em and sniffed me. I ignored her. AND the last time she was here I had treats and she cautiously approached me head on and actually took the treat!
