    I was wondering if it is possible for a dog to get sick of his walking route? [8|] Cyrus seems to be slowing down a lot and wanting to pull down sideroads and byroads and whatnot...everytime he sees a different path open up, he gets excited and wants to walk down it. I keep having to stop and get his attention again.
     
    has anybody else's dog done this?!

    yup, i have multiple routes for berserker, i let him pick which way we go.

    Have a new walk each day. Take a different route each time.
     
    Make each walk exciting.

    Max  doesn't seem bored with his route - he's just overjoyed to be outside. [:)] The area we walk forms a big loop and you can enter/exit our street from either end.  Halfway around the loop, we come to the west end of the street ... and Max walks as far to the right as he can get until we pass our street. I think that's his way of telling me not to cut his walk short by going down the street but to continue around the whole loop and come in from the other end. Smart pooch.[:D]
