• It "pays" to walk your dog!! sharismom Posted : 12/29/2006 8:16:05 AM Last night I went out with Bear for our nightly walk and guess what I found on the sidewalk?  Money - a whole $7.00!!  It was on a corner where an apartment building is located (its back side faces that corner).  I looked around, but there wasn't a single other pedestrian in sight, so I decided it was "finders keepers"!  Maybe I'll use it to buy Bear a new toy or a couple of bully sticks!    I know it's silly, but just had to share! • Sue and Buddy Posted : 12/29/2006 10:39:51 PM The same thing happened to me about two months ago, except it was a $10 bill!  I took Buddy on his normal route, but backwards and I found it in a field next to a parking lot at the end of our walk, which would have been the beginning of the walk.  I almost didn't go that way because I just wanted to get home, but he loves going this way because it is near a pond, so off we went.  I was sure happy that Buddy influenced me that way!   Congrats! • Ingrid Posted : 12/30/2006 5:58:39 AM I've never found money, but I've certainly LOST money. On two occations I came home from a walk to find a bill missing from my pocket. First time, at night, I was playing on the snowhills behind the elementary school (ahh, good times, I wish I was a kid again), and I came home and found my money missing (can't remember if it was a $5 or a $10). Good thing that came out of it was some kid was probably feeling VERY lucky and happy the next day, lol. 2nd time was when I was almost home and I think a $5 or $10 bill slipped out of my pocket and fell to the sidewalk.
