Today show recommends Christmas puppies

Thanks Mastiff....will be curious to see if our outrage stirs any response.

Nope. Nothing. However, maybe down the road they will do a story on puppies after the holidays are over, and shelters.

They did another story today on adopting animals at Christmas. BUT, this story was about sponsoring farm animals that needed adoption. Not actually bringing animals home for the holidays. Much better story, and teh woman that runs this shelter/farm was on and very appreciative of the attempt to make people aware that goats, ponies, sheep, etc....need homes too!

i got a form letter response today. it basically said they dont have time to read and respond to all their email. pretty much what i expected. a corporate giant that really doesnt care about individual viewers, only their overall ratings.[8|]

maybe we should be emailing abc or cbs about what idiots nbc is and they will air a segment contradicting and critizing nbc's.

actually cbs ran a piece promoting buying designer breeds on their cbs sunday morning show a while back. there is a thread about it on here somewhere.

so i guess so far the only network not to air a stupid segment about buying/adopting dogs is abc. and they may have i just dont know about it.

edit: cbs did read some viewer comments (all negative) on the air the following week about the designer dog piece. they didnt retract their statements or apologize though, and have since run the same piece at least once more.
