    The BEST toys!!!!!!

It's nothing new, just new to us[:D] I always thought, ( having Boxers you know) that any kind of "plush" toy would be a disaster until way past the age of three. We went out and bought the I-cube and the hide a squirrel, oh my gosh!!!!! they went nuts[sm=dance.gif]I can't beielve how much they love them, and Maya plays with them too. I saw they have a gingerbread house and bumble bee's too! Those will be Christmas presents for them!!

I keep hearing about these Hide-a Squirrels and stuff.  Can they not be unstuffed?  Thats what my dogs do with stuffed animals.  I don't really mind as I get my stuffies from the Sally Ann for like a buck a bag and they get retired after a play session or two.  I figure my dogs are gonna be surgeons, why fight it?  Now I understand that the squirrels are hidden in like a log or something so the dogs get to kind of unstuff the log, but after that do you have to quickly put them back in so that the game stays fun?  Wouldn't my dogs just then perform surgery on the squirrels?  Is it more like an interactive game to play with them?

Yes, exactly it is interactive, I stuff em right back as soon as Houston pulls em out, I don't want him suckin the life out of the poor squirrels. We are so sappy, weve taken it a step further and named the three squirrels so that at the end of play time with those two toys we say" where's Scooter, Darla and Alphalpha" so Houston goes lookin for all three of them, I know, crazy, Im trying to teach him to assocaite them with thier names[&:] So far, tonight as a matter of fact, one ball from the i-cube has met his demise.

well, yeah, but you can buy replacment squirrels for real cheap.
My dogs take the squirrels out of the stump and then run wildly around wrestling with the stump instead of destroying the squirrels. The stump is pretty tough, has survived quite a long time in my house.
