    life changes

I got a new job and started last week. Molly has lost her lunch-time visits from me. It's not bad as my son is home early afternoon every other day (he's a senior and every other day has an afternoon full of study halls so he can leave). And now that it's raining so much DH has been home at least 1 day a week.
My new job (which is kicking my ***) is copy editor for our local paper. I worked for a shopper paper for 11 years about 7 years ago. I've been working in real estate offices since - slow boring work with days on end with little to do. Well that's changed....now I stay awake at night wondering what I've forgotten to do and worrying I'm messing up cause I have no clue as to just what I'm doing LOL although I'm starting to catch on.
Sad part is our editor is leaving tomorrow and guess what idiot has to take control until they hire a new one....[8|] I shoud have held out for more money. Good part is now I can get INSURANCE!!!!! My former boss wouldn't offer it cause she had it through her hubby.
Anyway - I do have 2 days a week I get out pretty early and can take Molly for walks, except it's rained basically everyday since I started there.
molly is still a good girl. Now when we go somewhere she carries my wallet to the car for me [:D] and when I forget to grab it the silly girl goes and gets it off the counter....a no-no but she wants to bring it. She gets into the backseat of the car and drops it on the front seat.
Have I mentioned how smart she is?
her first anniversary with us is next week (doesn't seem like a year does it Glenda?)
I switched dog food (same brand just a different style) and she's eating well - never skips a meal. She weighs 65 lbs. and looks good.
I'm publicly thanking Glenda for my best friend....Molly means a lot to us.
She isn't a Sadie replacement....she's a Molly and always brings a smile to our face (along with bringing us our shoes, or each other's shoes, or cat toys, etc).
