[8|] Rebecca is right.  My last dogs who passed away lived to be 18 and 17.  I still have one that is 17.  7 is middle age to most dogs, not ancient at all. It doesn't cure the cancer but it helps starve it by denying the carbs cancer needs and dogs usually feel better and live longer on this diet. • stevie Posted : 11/20/2006 1:21:01 PM UPDATE!   The surgery went fine, and two lumps were removed.  He thinks they are made of the same thing, and that they were caused by a local reaction to having shots there in the past.  He says they don't look cancerous, but that they sent them to the lab anyway to confirm this.  She has REAL stitches this time, and I am all around, very VERY happy about my decision to get a second opinion!   She's lying on the floor now in front of a small heater, trying to sleep off the drugs.  I wish I knew how to post pics here, because I would share some of her napping peacefully.   Thanks for the support and the advice!  If anything weird comes out in the labwork, you know I will update you all on that as well! 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
