If you dog was a cartoon character....

    ...which one would he/she be?

Sally would be "Courage the Cowardly Dog."

Jack would be "Butters" from South Park.....
    • Bronze
Mine would be "The Tasmanian Devil" especially when she was younger.

Our male Golden is the first one that comes to mind, he would be Baby Huey, lol!  We lovingly refer to him that way sometimes.  Momma's boy, "what are we gonna do now Maw," bull in a China closet gracefulness, etc.

Our female Golden would be Tinkerbell (sp?).  Strong beautiful, feminine, winged, fairy with a propensity for mischief.

Not sure about our GSD puppy, yet.  She's 5 months today and kind of reminds me of Wiley Coyote!

    Love this topic. [:D]

Bailey would be Tigger, always bouncing around making silly noises.

Scooby-doo, for the way he talks, Marmaduke for being a big dog in the middle of a family, Speedy Gonzales or Roadrunner for being the fastest dog I have ever seen in person, Snoopy for being too darned smart.

    tough to pick one
his name is Bugs as in Bunny (clever, silly, funny)
his facial expressions are more Scooby Doo each day
Popeye because he is the strongest dog I ( and 3 others have mentioned this unprompted) have ever known

    Fun topic![:D]

Giz would be the dog from The Simpsons, never understands a thing I say and always getting into trouble but I still love her and she is here to stay[:)]

    Great topic!

Definitely a larger version of Santa's Little Helper on The Simpson's - although I read that SLH is supposed to be a greyhound, but he certainly doesn't look big enough on the show.

Oops, Xebby I didn't even see your post!

    Thats fine[;)

I think many of our dogs can relate to SLH.  Thats what's great about the Simpsons, a satire on normal people's lifes that we can compair ourself to, thats what's keepted it going for so long.

Buck, our almost 12 year old golden retriever, would have to be a cross between Doc and Sleepy of Snow White.  He is a leader, he is smart, but in his old age, he is sleeping more.

KayCee,  our 7 year old golden, not really a cartoon  character, but the Cowardly Lion out of Wizzard of ox because she is just a big chicken dog.  Scared of the vacuum, scared of anything "new" (out of place) in a room, etc.

Honey would be Dora the Explorer as she is always exploring and wanting to go somewhere.  She always has her nose pressed  gainst the spaces in the wood fence trying to see and find out what is on the other side.

I don't think any one cartoon character fits any on of my dogs....

Dooley would likely be a cross between Speedy Gonzales and Yogi Bear. He is fast as all heck ..but will stop to steal a picnic basket.

Witt has got to be a cross between Pepe Le Pew..will not be denied and is always wanting to be in your face kissing, and when he plays there is no doubt he is Taz..he is a blurr of loud scary vocals.

Annie..there is no way to limit here. Annie is the most complicated all over the board dog I have ever met. Her nick name is "Hooker", she is extremely smart, manuipulative and affectionate. She has boundless energy and is always plotting.
Maybe...Betty Boop, Babs, Wonder Woman, Pipi Longstocking..and Capatin Caveman all rolled into one?

I haven't a clue for Darby..he is an almost 15 year old Poodle. He is affectionate with us, grouchy with the other dogs, sometimes really playful, but mostly just wants to sit in your lap. He really dislikes young boys. Maybe Mr. Wilson?

Natchez ,bloodhound, would be the Disney Character Goofy.  He'll be tracking and walk right into stuff, stumbles over his own big feet, but he's also very lovable.
Lillee would be Thumber,  she's so excited about everything and jumps all the time.

I think my two girls, Gracie & Trixie are like the bulldog & smaller yappier doggie that I remember watching as a kid (I'm thinking the bulldog was named Spike?  Not sure about the little one).  It seemed like it was on Tom & Jerry cartoons.

Gracie is big and calm like the Bulldog but Trixie is constantly bouncing around her and if she had a voice... I'm sure it would be high pitched saying "can we Gracie? can we huh? can we go now Gracie? can we?"  lol

Witt has got to be a cross between Pepe Le Pew..will not be denied and is always wanting to be in your face kissing

The Pepe Le Pew part is exactly how we describe my parent's dog, Brownie!! He has this cute little trot type run so anytime we see him start to trot, we add the music the cartoon plays when Pepe is chasing the cat. lol
