Do you like taking photos of your dogs?

Silly question to ask a bunch of dog lovers...but who LOVES taking pics of their doggies/pets? I really enjoy it! lol. However, I definitely need to invest in a new camera. The one I have is really cheap and works ocassionally. It's a a no name brand..haha. I need to get one that has image stabilization. Action shots on my camera hardly work. I just have to keep snapping until I get something.

    Just thought I'd ask.. ;)

I paid $600 for my newest camera... and about 9/10 of the photos I've taken are of my pets lmao... Not makin' much money back on those...

I've considered getting a digital SLR (right now I have a film SLR) just so I can post pictures of Tojo on iDog easier. THAT'S crazy.

I have about 7000 pictures taken all together over the past 2 years that I've had a digital camera, and I'd say about 99% of them are of the dogs (mainly Tango). I love taking pictures of my dogs. I also just have an inexpensive camera though, which doesn't take as nice quality pictures as I'd like (though they are wonderful to the average person, apparently). I'm trying to convince myself that $800-1000 isn't too much to spend on a camera...I really, really want a digital SLR but I wish they weren't so expensive.

Argh. My camera flash doesn't work at all anymore.. I think Jazz knocked it off my nightstand-maybe she was sick of the camera taking and did it on purpose..lol. It's so frustrating though. I'm trying to take pics and it just isn't working! I'll have to save up for one.. Stupid thing!

Laddie loved posing for the camera. Tonka can be a bit more of a challenge. First off he's all black and secondly he can't keep his head still for very long.

Thirty years ago I started with a Pentax 35mm, and in the past 5 years I've had several digital. Last year I bought a Sony H1 and I love it. Quick shutter release which is a must have for capturing those unpredictable moments. I just didn't want to get locked into one brand of DSLR by investing in the lenses.

I literally have hundreds and hundreds of fotos of my boys. Here are some in memory of my beloved Laddie bear.

I love taking pictures of my dog, but i'm not the really bad one in my house. My sister is worse. She had a good digital camera, but she decided she needed a new one. I know I took about 500 pictures of Max in the first year we had him, but I have no idea how many she took.

I enjoy taking lots of pictures of the dogs along with other things.  I just wish I could find a digital camera that takes good action shots especially for those rough house moments.

Goodness yes! I have only about a million of Cassidy, and I have a lot of them in a photo album that I made about my animals. Since we went digital I haven't put anymore in the photo album, but I do have some on the computer here. I have tons of puppy pictures of Mirelle too, but I haven't yet made an album for hers, and I need to do that.
