I think dog beds are generally over priced however the main selling point with your beds is the tough bottom BUT on the other hand that dosnt make for as easy storage for for traveling becasue it couldnt be stored as easily, i guess I'm partial on that part. Next is that I just bought a 48 inch round bed at Costco that has fleece on top, hard on bottom with cedar inside to prevent stinky. It also has a removable cover and it was only $20!!!!! It is highly comparable to the Orvis ones which i also think is extremely overpriced.
