What's ur favorite Dog Names?

I know the breeder has a lot of say in what my new puppy will be named but that hasn't stoped me from thinking of names for him or her.

So far I like

Nile - Show name: [kennel name] Endless River
Mango
Banjo
Moonshine
Warlock
Nolly

And maybe someday I'll name something Xebby[]  I really don't have a clue why I thought up that name but I liked the unique way it sounds "zeb-bee" and use it for almost every forum I've belonged to.
 
For cats I want a pair and I would name them:
Zen and Karma
Thoes name just don't seem to fit a dog as well as they fit a cat.

I like to call dogs human names, mostly, but sometimes not. DH and I bought this big stuffed husky for our son (even though he's only 5 months old!) and it got named Douglas somehow, so I think if we ever get a male husky, it'll definitely be named Douglas. DH really wants a male husky one day, too. He's obsessed with sibes!

For a girl, I like the names Lou-Anne for any breed, and for a japanese breed (another shiba or a shikoku) I like the names Geisha or Yoshimi. I got Yoshimi from this song I like called "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots".

As for the pets I have now, Tojo is named after Hideki Tojo and Hester (cat) is named after a professor at the local university who I look a geography class from. I just liked the name Hester and it suits her really well. Oh, my mother in law has a black and white cat named Batman and I love that name for him!

It's traditional to name working border collies people names (and no kennel/show names). Between rescues and my own dogs, I've now used up most of my favorites. I don't have a "luke" of my own, but I've name two rescues Luke. I had a Pyr named Duke, which is a fav name of my husband.

My guard dogs all get names from Tolkien. I'm not very creative, but I can dredge up obscure names because I've just about got the Silmarillion memorized.

I like the name Shadow, and will probably name a future dog that, maybe a black GSD.
 I also like the Montana, my friend has a dog named that. I can't think very well right now, I know there are other names I like a lot.

I ever have a male dog who farts a lot, i'm calling him Walter. I also like Chimera for a female, but i'd probably never use it. It was going to be the name of my first bearded dragon if it were a female, but I got a male and called him Griffin. I kinda seem to go with people names, names of characters, and in one case I named a bearded dragon after my favorite former president. I'd like to have a Luke and  a Leia at some point, and they should preferably be had at the same time. I know i've got more, but I can't think of any right now.

Minta (means aunt in American Indian)
