Benjamin Grrrrrr!: The Complete Guide To Understanding And Preventing Agressive  - Mordecai Siegal  Don't Shoot The Dog!  - Karen Pryor    I already have Culture Clash, Dog Whisperer, Monks of New Skete.  Several of you mentioned "Calming Signals" but the company the card is for doesn't carry it.  So I'll have to find it elsewhere.   Thanks so much! • jeano Posted : 3/4/2006 4:13:58 PM I just checked "How to Speak Dog" out of the library, and also the NEW REVISED "How to Be Your Dog's Best Friend" book by the Monks of New Skete. I'm here to say that the Monks have totally rewritten their book and no longer advise the negative practices they did in the first book. Kinda like the way Dr. Spock wrote a new book about babies, admitting that he was TOTALLY wrong in the original book he wrote back in the 50s! I've only just started both books, but I've browsed a good deal in the Monks' book.
