Help puppy is skinny

• Help puppy is skinny Candice Sparrow Posted : 10/10/2006 12:26:28 PM My pup does not have a good appetite, she is now getting really skinny, i treated her with worms about 10 days ago, and her appetite did come back a bit but she won't eat all her food she will basically just nibble, I am feeding her Nutro for Puppies, mixed with canned dog food, she will not even nibble her food if it is not mixed with canned dog food, she is still really skinny you could feel her hip bones and she feels so fragile, she is a mutt and 9 weeks now. Could something else be wrong with her, she was dry heaving the other day, any ideas?? could it still be worms? • Candice Sparrow Posted : 10/11/2006 11:59:21 AM Hi everyone, took her to the vet, and they said she was healthy??? maybe I should get a second opinion, he wants to see how she is in a couple of days cause i told him i just dewormed her again, and her stools have hardened up, so maybe she did still have worms. Well last night there was an improvement, I put her food in her crate with her, she sort of just looked at it and went to lay down but after about 20 minutes she ate ALL her food, I was so happy!!! []the vet told me the possibilities maybe that she is stressed by being in a new home, she doesn't seem stressed she plays around all day and seems happy, she plays with our boston until they get tired?? or that she is just a picky eater? Does anyone have suggestions on how i should get her to eat.... and GAIN weight!!!
