I guess I got told....

To stop singing! LOL[sm=lol.gif]

Oprah had Lionel Richie on today and it put me in the mood for some of his music. As luck has it, there is some of his stuff on the laptop and I'm singing along to "Penny Lover" - and Keela barked at me!

She and Jezzy were asleep on the couch and when I started singing along, Keela gave me the funniest look, got down and barked at me! The look on her face is hilarious! After some foot scratching, she finally got back up on the couch and kept growling at me between funny looks. She then decided to crawl into my lap and sit there staring at my face while I keep singing "Penny Lover" to her.[sm=rotfl.gif]I felt it was an appropriate song since she is red! Though I have to say, laughing and singing at the same time are hard to do!!![sm=rofl.gif]

I know I can't carry a tune in a bucket, but still - I haven't been treated to that bad of a reception since Star was a baby 20 years ago! Jezzy must really be tone deaf, as she never twitched an ear[

Shadow will sit at my feet when I sing "Highway to Hell." I think it's because he thinks we're going for a ride? "A season ticket on a one-way ride..."

I realized today that we will have only had her 2 months come Oct. 4th. Time flies when you are having fun, and drags when you are potting training a new puppy! LOL She has fit in very well with the crazies around here. As proof last night with her barking at my singing. hehe At least I know she has good taste - she barked at "Who Let the Dogs Out" as well. I don't care for it either.[

] Now I need to see how she reacts to Beethoven.[sm=lol.gif]

When I attempt to sing, Roxie runs around the room manically and barks, while Trixie shoots me a glare. I wonder if they approve of my exceptional voice?

Obviously, our dogs do not know how talented we are. LOL!

Maybe it wasn't your singing she objected to, but the Lionel Ritchie instead? Try some Stones or Aerosmith and see if she's a rocker, she looks like she's trying to be a tough cookie!!!
