For the last 6 months I have been happily employed as a territory sales manager for a pet product distributor.
But for 3 years before that I worked at a pet supplies store. Yesterday, I stopped into this same pet supplies store and remembered why it was so stressful.
1. I heard a lady talk to her friend, daughter, whatever about how much her cat loved Kit'N Kaboodle (or Kit N' Ka-poople as I call it) and that she should switch her cat off of the expensive stuff the shelter recommended (Eagle Pack) to Kit' N' Kaboodle

.
2. A customer asked an employee, who I am personal friends with, where there is a store that sells puppies that is still open.

The employee answered with "Oh, well we always recommend the shelters. We haven't heard very healthy things about puppies that come from pet stores" Good for her[

]
3. I overheard another couple discuss that the breeder recommended (Eagle Pack) and their the vet recommended (Science Diet). And then when an employee casually walked by and asked if they needed help, they said "no." And checked out with the Science Diet.
I'm such an ease dropper. But this all happened while I was chatting with my old co-workers.
Glad I don't have to deal with that all day.
