Biting

• Biting Giles Posted : 9/28/2006 11:12:50 PM Our dog is about 3 months old and he bites like mad. i got a battlescar form him,lol. anyone have any tips on how to prevent this? whenever i say no and take my foot away, he starts gorwling. He will learn that biting ends the fun and you don't want to play with him when he does it. Also a puppy obedience class would be great. Look up NILIF on-line and start doing some of that with him. How old was your pup when you got him? • sallya Posted : 9/29/2006 11:42:57 AM He is a baby, they bite and chew. Many times, they are teething. I always keep two frozen washcothes in the freezer. Just tie a knot and wet it, then freeze. My pups always feel better when chewing them. The gums are hurting. This will all pass.
