Rest in peace Lora Bauer Brashear of Hartagold Am Staffs/Pit Bulls

I didn't know Lora, other than to admire her work with the breed and to see her share her knowledge on some boards, but the dog world lost a great friend today after a long and valiant struggle with illness. Rest in peace Lora.

I didn't know her either, but an untimely death is always sad.

OMG!! I was considering getting a dog from her a while back; we used to chat on AIM every once in a while! What happened? And are the dogs staying w/ her hubby or going elsewhere?

OMG, that's terrible! She was such a great person for her own breed and as an advocate for 'showdogs that work!' in all breeds. I had lost touch with her in recent years but always enjoyed her postings on some of the old dog boards.

HOLY SMOKES! I knew Lora from some old boards and this is a huge shock to me!

Story here:http://www.hartagold.com/lungs4lora.html I'm sure the family could still use some help with the bills too.

I believe her last litter of puppies has gone to their homes or fosters and her adults are being fostered by friends right now.
